The Institute of Social Research & Development (ISRD) is an NGO established by computer professionals to meet the need of time by developing capacity of youth in the field of computer education and linking them with companies looking forward for the professionals to manage computer works in their office. The ISRD has organised a considerable number of training courses to produce computer professionals. The trained professionals have established computer training centers in different states of India for developing capability of resource poor youth to work as expert of Hardware, Software, Networking, Web Designing, Software Development, Publishing, Designing, Personality Development etc. The Centers are being run under the guidance of NICE, a group promoted by the ISRD.

 The ISRD has completed its first phase of developing trainers to develop capacity of youth as professionals by establishing computer training centers. Now the NICE is attempting to facilitate the centers established by its past students and other willing for conducting exams and certify capability of their students in playing the role of professional. The students securing marks above 80% shall be identified and provided placement facility through the website of the ISRD for facilitating agencies/companies having the need of professionals in managing their work.

After conducting exams the ISRD has established an independent unit named NICE who has support of an association like Appropriate Technology Development Association (ATDA) for introducing an appropriate management system to fulfill the needs of both the ends.
